Many of you know this already, but I was born in 1980 and was at just the right age to enjoy the rise and fall of MTV. I remember watching Remote Control and endless hours of music videos. Now, MTV sucks, they hardly show videos anymore and it is all about reality television. I think one of the best concepts that MTV came out with was 'MTV Unplugged' a series of concerts by popular artists done acoustic in front of an audience. They had older acts like Neil Young, Rod Stewart, and Eric Clapton as well as modern like Alice In Chains, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam. Some of the performances were legendary, and I thought about going through a few of them during the week, so for now I will just use some of my favorite performances here, then highlight certain acts over the next month or so, as well as some background into how MTV's Unplugged began.
So, while I wait for Blogger to fix a log in issue I will be posting on here. I actually don't have much to post about right now except that Blogger is pissing me off. I cannot log in to post or comment on other pages, and since I can't access my Dashboard I can't visit other blogs because I don't know their URL's. Ugh.
