Yes my one day off this week, I did stay in bed until about 10:30 watching tv, but then made up for it by getting up and scooping the cat boxes, cleaning the living room (to my standards anyway), and clearing the dining room table. Alyssa is happily watching Snow White and the cats are...well Harley just came back out of hiding cuz I was vacuuming the living room and she thinks it's a monster out to get her. So last night after work we went to the Durham Fair, it was pretty good, I didn't eat much cuz I'm still a bit leery or overdoing it, altho i did have a meatball sub and that didn't bother me so I think I'm all better. Alyssa went on all the rides by herself which was good cuz between Six Flags and the Big E I'm all set for a while with rides. I think I'm gonna take next Saturday off, I wanna make it to Alyssa's game next week I've missed 2 of 3 already and this week she played goalie and Heather said she did a really good job she had a few saves so I wanna catch that, if there is work to be done I'll go in on Sunday. I gotta try and get some pictures on here, I saw the pics of my Aunt's new kitten it looks just like Harley , actually I'm gonna try to do that it can't be that hard well that's all for now.

So, it's my grandmother's 70th birthday and that put me to thinking about where the world will be when I'm 70, so here's a few good guesses and a few facts about the year 2050!

1. Alyssa will be 48 years old when I'm 70, wow

2. Devin will be 43, even stranger to think cuz he hasn't been born yet

3. In 2050 we will be watching Super Bowl 84, maybe by then the Giants will have won another one.

4. With the polar ice caps melted the new vacation hot spot will be relaxing on the sunny shores of Arizona

5. Figuring in a steady inflation in all prices gas should cost somewhere around 20.75 a gallon in 2050 and minimum wage will be only $13 and hour

6. On January 1st 2050 my mother will be turning 92!

7. Stamps will be $1.50 each

8. Newspeak becomes the official language of Oceania (if you read 1984 you'll get it)

9. In October of 2050 Pearl Jam will have their 60th anniversary, altho Eddie Vedder will be 84

10. The US Census Bureau estimates that by the year 2050 Hispanic and Asian races will make up 50% of the population

11. Britney Spears will be 69 years old and still be on every tabloid in the world (sorry she's not going away for a while)

12. There still won't be peace in Iraq

13. And the last thing I know about the year 2050..........George Bush will be dead by then



that was alot tougher to than i thought it would be

So today is my 2nd straight day of staying home with this stomach bug, kinda my own fault cuz I felt much better yesterday and decided that I could eat dinner, so I had some pasta and a few meatballs, not the right move. So I started off for work today and was gonna try to work thru it, but my bathroom stops were too often like once every half hour. I had to stop at a rest area in North Haven on the way to work and from there decided it wasn't going to work, if I couldn't make it from West Haven to Wallingford how was I gonna work all day? I tried it one time before and it sucked, I was at Clinton Crossings and had to drive across the place to get to the bathroom, so by the time I broke down my truck, drove over there, went, drove back and set my truck up again I had approximately 15mins to work before I had to go again. This turned an hour service call to about a 2 hour service call, after that I went home. So today I'm on a hunger strike, I ate a plain piece of bread about an hour ago and that's all I'm eating, and I'm drinking water. I may have to stop eating until Friday when I have the weekend to hide out in the house, i'll probably get some saltines to snack on at work if I need something. So, not much else going on, I just got a chess game for the computer that I'm into, it's alot tougher playing the computer that a real person. Alyssa has soccer practice today, and I think she's gonna be starting Daisy's soon, it's like a beginners thing for Brownies, that'll be on Thursdays. Our schedule is getting kinda crazy here, soccer practice on tuesday at 5, daisy's on thursday at 6 and soccer game on saturday at 12:30, just wait till there's two of them. well, that's all for now

Today I went to Alyssa's 2nd soccer game altho it was the first one I saw cuz last week I had to work on Saturday,I had to do the stupid class for my sign license. Her team won again, I think the score was somewhere around 10-6, not alot of defense in 5-6 year old soccer. I barely made it to the game tho, after being sick on Friday, it got worse today and I got hit with a bad fever. I've been lying on the couch for a few hours trying to sweat it out. So the game went pretty good otherwise, Alyssa was upset that she didn't score a goal, but we told her maybe next week she will. She's the little team care giver, a girl accidently got hit in the face and Alyssa was right there to help her out. So not much else going on, I think I'm gonna lose about 10lbs by the time this stomach flu is over, the last time I had it I missed a week of work and didn't eat anything but dry toast the whole time, at least I have enough energy to finally get up and get on the computer, I've been convincing myself for about 5 hrs. I was gonna do that, well I'm going back to bed don't want to exert too much energy.
