 Song Saturday

I'm gonna start something here, on Saturday I'm gonna post a song of the day. Today I chose "Do the Evolution" by Pearl Jam (of course), just a great song with great lyrics.

I'm ahead, I'm a man
I'm the first mammal to wear pants, yeah
I'm at peace with my lust
I can kill 'cause in God I trust, yeah
It's evolution, baby

I'm at peace, I'm the man
Buying stocks on the day of the crash
On the loose, I'm a truck
All the rolling hills, I'll flatten 'em out, yeah
It's herd behavior, uh huh
It's evolution, baby

Admire me, admire my home
Admire my son, he's my clone
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
This land is mine, this land is free
I'll do what I want but irresponsibly
It's evolution, baby

I'm a thief, I'm a liar
There's my church, I sing in the choir:
(hallelujah, hallelujah)

Admire me, admire my home
Admire my son, admire my clones
'Cause we know, appetite for a nightly feast
Those ignorant Indians got nothin' on me
Nothin', why?
Because... it's evolution, baby!

I am ahead, I am advanced
I am the first mammal to make plans, yeah
I crawled the earth, but now I'm higher
2010, watch it go to fire
It's evolution, baby
Do the evolution

 Thursday Thirteen (kinda)

So I'm taking an idea I think my sister started and doing a list for Thursday altho it's actually Friday morning. so I've been thinking alot what I should do for my first Thursday Thirteen,so I'll keep it simple 13 movies I can watch over and over in no particular order

1)Spiderman (series)- I'm just gonna put series here to include 1 and 2 because I have other series I love and it'll take up all 13. Anyway like my 100 facts says I'm obsessed with SpiderMan

2) Ferris Bueller's Day Off- Don't know what it is about this movie but I still laugh everytime I see it, I could watch this every time it's on TV

3)Harry Potter- Another series I love, every single one of these is great, and now that it's getting darker it's even better

4)The Waterboy- This is just a great movie if you don't feel like thinking alot and it's so freakin' funny

5)Ghostbusters- Another comedy that I never really thought was funny until I was older. When I was a kid I watched this about 100 times a week and now as an adult I have it on DVD and watch it when i get the chance.

6)The Wizard of Oz- Just a classic, know just about every line

7)Forrest Gump- A movie I watch every time it's on, and TNT shows it alot. I just think this is one of the greatest movies ever made

8)Titanic- Surprisingly, I really do enjoy this movie, I thought I would hate it but it's really good and keeps interest the whole time.

9)Grease- This is a give-in who hasn't seen Grease more than 100 times

10)Night of the Living Dead- The original in black and white, it's not really scary of gory or any of that, but it's short and simple

11)Who Framed Roger Rabbit?- If you haven't seen this, change that.

12)The Lion King- The best Disney movie ever

13)Private Parts- The story of Howard Stern, this was a great movie which to some was very surprising.

well that' my first Thursday Thirteen

 tuesday blah's

Monday's don't bother me, for some reason Tuesday's do, it's not a fresh week anymore and it's not the middle of the week yet and it's def not the end. There is a Lia Sophia party going on downstairs
i've been hiding out playing Madden and watching what else Spiderman 2. The whole day dragged on, sometimes I like days of service cuz it's a nice break but when it's been like that for a week or so it gets to you. it gets really boring sometimes, but if I have a few stops that can keep me busy for a while it's not so bad. The weather is turning cooler and I'm pretty happy about that, I like when it's bitter cold like 20 degrees with a wind chill of -10, those are the best days to do service. I must be crazy, it's just so much easier to work when your not hot, and it's much easier to stay warm in the winter than cool in the summer. well nothing else really going on around here. lata

 gotta rant here

Okay,so has anyone seen this thing with Kathy Griffin and her emmy speech if not or if you have check out this clip

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiJY5QiDwgs

This guy who comes on from some Catholic group is a moron, first of all whatever happened to freedom of speech? If she wants to say 'suck it Jesus' oh well. secondly, this guy is comparing her saying that to Micheal Richards using the n word or Imus calling those girls nappy headed hoes. There is a huge difference here, black people and those girls are real people who can really get offended, Jesus is not a real person he's an imaginary figure that some people put faith in to guide them in their lives, which is silly to me but if that's what you like then go with it. Personally I don't care what Imus or Micheal Richards or Mel Gibson said, yeah so they're jerks but they have opinions just like anyone else. It seems to me people that are for freedom of speech or only for it if the speech doesn't offend them, as soon as someone say's something risque it's bad and they should be censored. Well, ya can't have your cake and eat it too people, I find lots of things offensive, like our president saying "We're kicking ass" in regards to Iraq and he's an ass for saying it but hey he's got the right to say what he feels. I'm just so tired of these religious nuts on tv analyzing everything that people say, although I DO respect that they have the right to say it. so that's it for tonight

 Saturday at school

So today I had my continuing education class for my sign license, what fun that was from 8:30 am till 4pm, altho we took a lot of breaks cuz it was just too mind numbing to be in that room with Ben Stein as the teacher. The class is for all low voltage electricians but it was mostly for guys who do communications not signs. While I was stuck there, Alyssa had her first soccer game, her team won and Heather got some pictures for me and brought the video camera, but I'm not sure how to get pics up on here yet, I'll figure it out soon tho. In the video I noticed when the kids scored there was no goalie, Heather said there were designated goalie's but they wanted to get into the action to so they didn't stay in front of the goal they got out there and chased to ball around also. In the video you can hear some of the obnoxious soccer parents too which is funny I had to deal with some of them at the practice on Thursday, they think the kids are gonna be real soccer stars one day and play for the World Cup, please. So that's about it I gotta get Lyssa outta the tub.
