 Casper (the new addition)

We have a new family member in the house, no not another kid....another dog. Now, we don't mean to get these animals but they just appear and how no one wanted this big lug is strange. He is about 2 years old and is a 83lb. black lab, he's a little big about 4 inches taller than what a Lab should be, I measured him and he's 28" at his shoulders! As you'll see from his enormous head we think he's got some Mastiff in him, but he is a true gentle giant, and being raised with big dogs it's good to finally have one in the house. He loves to lay on anyone who will sit with him and he especially likes to lick Devin's feet. So here is Casper the giant Black Lab

 28%

(CNN)— With the economic outlook looking dim and the continued war in Iraq, President Bush’s job approval rating hit an all time low Friday, according to a just released poll. The latest Gallup poll shows the president’s approval dropped to 28 percent, the lowest of his eight years in office. The survey, which questioned 1,021 adults between April 6 and 9, with a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percent, found the decrease came largely because of Democratic and Independent dissatisfaction with his administration. Only 6 percent of Democrats questioned and 24 percent of Independents had a favorable opinion of President Bush, with about two-thirds support coming from Republicans. The new estimate marks one of the lowest approval ratings any president has seen since World War II, with the exception of Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon and Harry Truman, who all had a mid 20 percent approval rating in their final years in office. The all time lowest presidential approval rating was 22 percent in 1952 during Harry Truman’s final year in office, who like President George W. Bush dealt with problems related to the economy and an unfavorable war. Bush’s approval ratings have hovered around the low 30 percent range since July of 2007. It reached a high of 90 percent in 2001, just days after the September 11 attacks.

 dissapointed but holding on.....

So Mr.Obama couldn't pull it out tonight in Pennsylvania, but there are still a few primaries and caucuses to go. I've been asked this question before and now I'm going to answer it. If Clinton wins the primary will I still vote Democrat in the elections? Now, unlike some people who only see D or R, I can and have voted outside of party lines, I voted for and continue to support Gov. Jodi Rell, and altho I don't live in California I do think Arnold is doing a good job. That said I must tell you in this case I cannot cross party lines, a Republican has spent 8 years destroying this country and at this time I cannot support another member of the GOP. If one came around that I could get behind I would, I might have taken Rudy over Hilary but that would depend on his view of Iraq. I still hold faith that Mr.Obama will be the nominee and our next president but if need be I would vote for Hilary.

 Bill Maher is my Pope

I love Bill Maher, he tells it like it is and doesn't care what anyone has to say about it. All those people who think the Pope is the next thing to God himself, just know that you are supporting a Nazi pedophile.
Now, he says he's sorry for the whole priest/sex scandal, yeah right your just sorry all of your hypocrite pedophile priests got caught. And the best part is it cannot be denied, it's the one thing that Catholics can't defend, did the Vatican really pardon the Nazi's and give them a free pass and shelter them from the law? Maybe, that is what they say. This is a true thorn in the side of Catholics tho and I love it, you go to church and bow to your sinners and pretend they are close to God, ha, religion and spirit should be an individual thing anytime you get organized religion you are always bordering on a cult, there is no need to be forced into some building to be bored to death by some pedophile to get close to God, anyway I'm getting off base here....here's the video clip of what Mr.Maher had to say about the Pope coming to America

I'm putting up another tribute, this one to Layne Staley of the Seattle grunge/alternative band Alice In Chains. Altho according to the coroner his actual death was on April 5, he wasn't found until the 20th (much like Cobain who died on the 5th and found on the 8th). Layne had a very unique voice and along with bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam he spoke directly to Gen Xers. Layne died of an apparent drug overdose, he was 34.

No Excuses (unplugged)

Would? (live)
