 what a show

Holy cow it took me a while to recover from Pearl Jam Friday night. The best show I've ever seen. I came home covered in sweat and grass stains on my shorts. They played for almost 3 hrs, by the time we got home it was about 1:30, they got off stage at about 12. This is the 3rd time I've seen them now and they will supposedly have a new album coming out at the end of 08 or early 09, so hopefully they'll be back next spring.

I've got pictures to put up of Alyssa graduating from kindergarten but they are too big for this site so I may put them on ofoto and just link it to here. Plus from ofoto they can be printed out for whoever wants to.

My neck still hurts from Friday night tho, I must have pulled a muscle or something, oh and quick before I go, some recommended reading, 'the husband' by Dean Koontz was great. I'm now reading "Nathan's Run" by John Gilstrap and so far it's pretty good, I'd suggest to anyone to pick up either of these books.

 Impeach!!

I received a shirt in the mail the other day from a great site called
ImpeachBush

Bush lied. Thousands died.

It has the name of the website under that as well. I know he has less than 10 months left in office but wouldn't it be great just to get the Impeached title under his name. Clinton was impeached for lying about getting a blow job, they said he was an embarrassment to the country...well look what we have now. We have lost the respect of the rest of the world, a war was started over a lie.

I found a site that claims to have spy satellite photos of Iraq moving their weapons of mass destruction before the U.N inspectors were able to get there.

Proof

even I am a bit swayed by these pics and I know these may be doctored photos by the administration but you take a look and let me know what you think. I'm going to do some more research and if it turns out these are accurate photos from a spy satellite I will go back and apologize for doubting Dubya, you be the judge.

 thursday 13! (lame post)

I know it's not Thursday and I haven't done a Thursday Thirteen in forever, but I was on amazon earlier writing reviews for a bunch of books I had recently read. I started making reviews of some of my favorite albums of all time and thought I'd make a list of my 13 fav. albums ever.
I know nobody cares what my fav albums are but who cares. Here in no particular order are the albums.

1. Soundgarden- superunknown

2. Pearl Jam- No Code

3. Nirvana - In Utero

4. Black Sabbath- Paranoid

5. Led Zeppelin - IV

6. The Beatles - Let it Be

7. The Beatles - Abbey Road

8. Pearl Jam- vs.

9. Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral

10. Creed - My own prison

11. Stone Temple Pilots - Purple

12. R.E.M - Monster

13. Neil Young - Mirror Ball

what a lame post huh? I coulda put descriptions or reasons why I love them but I gotta go to work, maybe I'll put up examples later.

 great interview

here's the clip of future President Barack Obama on Jimmy Kimmel the other night. He really doesn't need to be on this show, he has huge support already from the young voters. The problem is that young voters are not very reliable to actually go out and vote 18-30 can be a lazy group, but I think enough of us young ens are upset enough about the state of the country and the future to go out and vote Obama.

If anyone out there is a Koontz reader I recommend that if you read "phantoms" to not read "darkfall" it's the same book. Altho I'm currently reading 'the husband' and it's great so far, i'm only about 100 pages in but it's really good.

I have to renew my subscription to Sirius and I haven't done it yet and I'm missing Stern, the other day I was getting bored of the local stations and since it was 1:30 I decided to go to the dark side and put on 1080 am, I used to like to listen to this in the morning (I kinda grew up on it, my mother listened to Ray and some lady who I don't remember). BUT, come 1ish the channel must be avoided as the fat moron Rush Limbaugh comes on. He really is retarded, I wanted to call and him tell him how retarded he is but I held it together. None of the Democrats think Obama is the 'messiah', and I hope he gets some of the best Dems in his cabinet, a smart man surrounds himself with smart people and a moron surrounds himself with other morons. Anyway I'm not going to argue with Rush on here, he's nothing more than a fat drug addict who somehow avoided prosecution for buying drugs.

Anyway.....only about a week left till Pearl Jam takes over Hartford. My father got me a copy of them in Tennessee a few days ago at some rock festival, haven't had a chance to check it out yet but I will soon. Here's a clip of them doing "Life Wasted" at Bonnaroo just 4 days ago

well that's all, everything else around here is pretty normal. Alyssa graduates from kindergarten soon, just 2 more days of school! Then she'll be 6 and be an official first grader. No crawling or teeth from Devin yet, but hopefully soon. He'll be 7 months soon, so he still has time to get that crawling down, Alyssa started walking about 2 weeks before she turned one, but I've been told that boys take longer with everything. Hard to believe in just 5 months he'll be one, November 27th. The summer hasn't barely begun and it's already almost over! Okay enough rushing time away, life moves fast enough as it is.

later
