We bought him one the other day cuz the one that Alyssa had is strangely missing the seat, hmmmm. so i tried to upload some pictures on here of him playing in the new toy but they were too big and couldn't be loaded, so instead I put them on ofoto and will just link to them, I included some pics of Alyssa at the same age playing in her saucer along with a few random shots of Devin, check out the belly in the bathtub pics (I wonder where he gets that from haha) I don't know if i'm supposed to link to outside picture sites but I don't see what it could hurt. check em out leave some comments up on here. peace ofoto | | Posted by BMCohen at 7:37 PM -

sunday is here and tomarrow i head back to work for the first time in about 8 days, Alyssa goes back to school and there are no more breaks until Spring Vacation in April. Heather's aunt Heidi woke us up at 8:30 this morning to show us that Alyssa was on the front cover of this weeks West Haven News, it's a free paper that you usually find in the vestibules of Krauzers or something like that. I was looking online to find a link of the picture from www.whavennews.com but it takes one day for the pics from today's publication to be on the internet. It's just a picture of her at the community house, holding up her Valentine basket that she made with the caption 'will you be mine'. this is her second time being a 'local celebrity', when she was 3 she went with Heidi to the Ansonia Nature Center and they were having a butterfly hunt. As Alyssa was bent over looking in a bush for 'flying flowers', as the article called them, a photographer took her picture from a the side. That was for the New Haven Register, altho they spelled her name wrong it was still a funny picture, mostly because her pants were sagging a bit and her diaper was hanging out. Of course I myself know what it's like to be bit of a local celebrity heh let's not all forget who the pinewood derby champion was in 1990 yup, yup, yup.....those were the days, I decided to retire from the game, ya know while I was on top, eh yeah one of the biggest upsets in pinewood derby challenge history. After coming in 3rd in the local competion at Nathan Hale and barely making it in to the regionals, I made a clean sweep and was pinewood champ of the greater Meriden/Southington area.....ah yeah, I coulda had it all, money, fame, women, POWER!!....but I knew I had to complete my education and leave the limelight forever...........but what could have been. | | Posted by BMCohen at 10:38 AM -

just getting going this morning, ug it's 8:10 am I'm tired. so anyway here's a funny news story and a few cartoons from one of the sites I get news from cbs.com Man steals car and brings it to police (AP) Authorities say a man drove a stolen car to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office to demand the return of nearly $2,000 officers seized from him during a drug arrest last June. Deputies said after they told Charles Chambers, 36, to leave Tuesday afternoon, an officer noticed he got into a car that matched the description of a vehicle stolen about three hours earlier. Another officer pulled the man over and told him to stop the car. The officer said Chambers stuck a screwdriver in the ignition to shut it off because the vehicle's key switch had been removed. Authorities say Chambers was charged with possession of a stolen automobile, driving under suspension and a tag violation. | | Posted by BMCohen at 8:14 AM -

I'm not really bored just taking a break from reading for a while. so we ended up going to the library yesterday, and Alyssa got her own library card which she is very proud of. She wasted no time in picking out 4 books yesterday, 3 of which were in the easy to read section and the other was 'how the grinch stole christmas'. she's doing very well with reading and i was surprised by her ability to sound out words that she doesn't really know yet, the best part is that she loves to read, even if she's going at a slow pace she doesn't give up. then i had a big test because she wanted to walk across the street to have lunch (BK)which was fine for her, but now i had to resist, which i'm proud i did. Didn't even get one of the salads cuz i knew i had a real salad at home in the fridge. Actually i wasn't feeling too well yesterday, so the only thing i really ate all day was a bowl of salad with vinegar and lots of coffee. I got two books for myself and grabbed the next 'alex cross' book for Heather. Obama had two more big wins yesterday , if he can hold on and take Texas and Ohio he may have this thing wrapped up. If anyone out there is in these states and are registered Dems, go out there and vote, it's one of the few things your country asks you to do, and it's your right, people fought and died for that right so don't give it up. I can't stand when people don't vote then they go and bitch about what's going on in the world, hey you wanna change it then vote, altho we all voted Gore as President and that didn't work out. well that's all for now | | Posted by BMCohen at 2:40 PM -
