I had mentioned briefly at the end of my last post some advice on bathing a cat, well now I have the visual evidence for you that it is not fun. this all started when i noticed black specks on Harley's nose and grabbing her a brushing it off I thought to myself "I hope this isn't flea dirt", then on the side of her face by her whiskers I saw a brownish red spot and my stomach sank. so both cats had a flea dip last night, Taz was a pain and growled alot but he doesn't have any claws so it wasn't that bad, he kept the lather on for about 5mins as directed on the bottle. Harley on the other hand is only about 6 months old and does in fact have claws, and not as much worldly experience as her 2 year old best friend Taz, so she also hyperventilates in water. look at this innocent face

yeah that was fun, in all my years of having cats tho it's only like the 2nd time i've gotten scratched bad so not so bad after all

I mean that in a few ways, I have been ill for a few days now, it's been going around the house, it's not that bad only really in the morning. Yesterday I stayed home from work cuz it was a bit worse mostly cuz I spent Tuesday morning out in the rain, which brings me to my other sickness...Spiderman. I started at 8:30 am and sat and watched all 3 spiderman movies one after the other, even tho we just watched most of the first one the other day on TV. We've owned spiderman 3 for about a week and Alyssa and I have watched it 3 times already, this is something I cannot explain. Altho I do believe I have filled my fix for a while, but I was looking online and found that they are thinking about and planning a Spiderman 4, which i also would have to see over and over. I think just the whole idea of the kid who always got picked on getting superpowers and being the hero is appealing to me. oh and a quick bit of advice to anyone with cats, wear oven mitts when attempting to bathe a kitten, trust me, my left hand knows how it feels.
