so, i've noticed after this last post (monday, monday) my count has only moved up like 10 people but it went up like 140 in the few days of my God rants so I'm gonna try to think of some other things to rant about and make this more of a commentary site, with a few personal things when big things happen. so i'm gonna go over to Yahoo! News and check out today's stories and see what strikes me.
Well nothing really going on that I have a definite opinion on, but I will say this because the trial of the Cheshire killings of the Petit family is going on right now, and since it is national news alot of people who read this will know what I'm talking about if not go to this site http://www.nhregister.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=18638359&BRD=1281&PAG=461&dept_id=7581&rfi=6
now, one of the things about this is that the people who did this were out on parole at the time, and I think CT should adopt the 3 strikes law which I believe a few states have now, i know California does. what this mean basically is if you commit 3 felony crimes you are going to get a long prison sentence the last time. I think if you are guilty of 3 violent crimes you should be put to death personally. The prisons are overcrowded especially here in CT and not enough people are facing serious penalties for their crimes, lots of criminals enjoy prison, it's a good time for them. Prison isn't supposed to be fun, get rid of the TV's get rid of the gyms and libraries all of that fancy crap. If someone goes to jail for a serious violent offense they should be locked in a cell with no way out (food should be served directly to the cell) and the inmates should have no interaction with each other. There is lots of crime going on in the prisons and there's no need for it, every person should be in solitary confinement. And when you kill a person and are found guilty you should be put to death. In case you can't tell I have not one bit of sympathy for violent offenders and when it comes to crime and punishment I'm very conservative altho i am a democrat. anyway i could go on all day but i'll leave it at that for tonite, thankyou

Just another manic Monday huh, usually tuesday is my worst day of the week but today wasn't so good either. I woke up barely in time to get to work at a decent hour, and there's been a cold going in the house that both Heather and I have, it's only really bad in the morning tho. I wake up with a sore throat and coughing like crazy but it's getting better, so maybe tomorrow will be okay. Altho my boss did tell me I'm gonna be working with one of the kids tomorrow (for those who don't know, when I refer to the kids I mean to say useless pieces of shit). anyway i don't really need anyone with me i've got a quick install then probably some service, i'll have to rush thru the install to get rid of the shithead quick. I think all 3 of them share a brain but when they're together they decide not to use it, so many useless people it's ridiculous. actually not that many only 4 out of 11 and that's not bad, there were times we've had 7 out of 11 useless people, but that's usually just in the summer when the other shitheads are looking for some kind of summer money to pay for their kids and their baby mama's. one of the kids has like 3 baby mama's and he's like 18 or something, what a world we live in. | | Posted by BMCohen at 7:31 PM - | |

First of all let me say I might change this blog to a commentary site, my visitors has gone up by almost 100 in just 24hrs by some who like what I said and some who didn't. Secondly if you didn't like what I said posting comments or emailing me isn't going to do anything cuz I don't care. But just to ease minds of some who don't know the background of some of my rants I'll humor you here with a few points of where I'm at.
1. My daughter (not like it's anyones business, especially people who I don't know) is taught that her dead cats and dogs are in heaven with God, it's not up to me to make her decisions as to what the higher power is, but I can give her a simple answer now while she is young. And I have no problem with her saying the Pledge to the flag even tho it does say "one nation under God" they sing songs about Santa too and I've never seen him either.
2. Yes I believe it's up to everyone to make their own decisions about where we came from and why we exist. I was not raised with religion shoved down my throat, neither was my brother or sister and I applaud my parents for that, and I applaud my sister especially for being able to come to her own conclusions about who put us here, because she was not forced into believing things, she found an answer to her questions thru the Catholic religion, and when you figure it out on your own it means more to you than being forced to learn it as a child.
3. To people who said they would pray for me, thank you it is greatly appreciated, as I said I'm not anti-God I'm just a guy looking for answers on my own, and if it turns out I'm wrong I'll need those prayers
4. I will NEVER believe in putting the Bible's morals into our law, NEVER!! People who believe that are closed minded and that shows lack of intelligence. If the Bible says man shall not lay with another man then okay I guess Catholics can't be gay, but that doesn't mean that gays shouldn't be able to marry each other, law and religion are meant to be separate, wanna live somewhere where they aren't? have fun living in Iran.
5. I do think there is a higher power, just not sure what it is yet. In some ways I think the Wiccan religion is right and Mother Nature put us here, I think the Jews are right and there is no hell, life only gets better after death, I also believe in re-incarnation, and I believe in lost souls walking the earth. But these are just beliefs, nothing that I really know, no body on this earth has all the answers to all of life's questions and no one ever will, I've researched many religions to see what everyone thinks because I have an open mind to anyone with a theory, and some make good points but more questions still pop up and they can't be answered.
6. Lets see if anyone out there with their religion on their side can answer some of these questions.
If the Jews are the Chosen People and God saved them from Egypt where was he during the Holocaust? Why no plagues on the Germans?
Explain the evidence of evolution anyone?
I don't remember dinosaurs being in the Bible do you?
There are many different Christian religions, some with different beliefs who is right?
Do all Buddhists go to hell?
I can go on and on forever, but I'm tired now. anyway I'm all done talking religion because there's too many people out there who can't handle it apparently

I try to stay away from topics that I know will cause controversy, because that's the way I am but when a moronic article is sent to me, I can't control myself to comment on it and I debated putting this in my blog for a while but hell it's my blog and I'll write what I want to. I was recently sent a transcript of something that Ben Stein said on some CBS morning show and parts of it were okay but other parts were just silly....so if you're a person who is a great defender of God and this will just upset you don't read on, I'll take a few quotes then I'll put my rebuttal.
"I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat." Ben Stein
How about people who don't believe getting pushed around, oh atheists are evil, they wear all black and are freaks, well not all of them are. Does the Constitution say that we must believe in God, why is that constantly being shoved down our throats. How about our idiot president who wants U.S. laws to follow the Bible? We can't have abortion cuz God says it's wrong? Gays can't marry cuz God says it's wrong, I don't remember God running on the ticket to be President.
"Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her "How could God let something like this happen?" (regarding Katrina) Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, "I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?" Ben Stein
First of all Billy Graham is an asshole anyway, he'll send a prayer to God for ya but it'll cost you $50.00 first, I didn't know God only listened if you paid first. Secondly, they say for the Bible to be out of schools and govt. for a reason, this country was based on freedom of religion, how can we be free to practice what we want if you force kids to learn the Bible in school? And tell ya what if Mr.Graham or these other televangelist assholes want the Bible in the govt. then take away their tax exemptions. Religion and govt don't mix, you cannot have laws based on the Bible it's not what our founding fathers wanted.
"Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace."Ben Stein
We believe what newspapers say because they involve people who actually exist, with all of the things that have been proved wrong in the Bible why not question it? Oh, how dare science prove that we came from evolution, not the in-bred Adam and Eve. How about the church's ridiculous interpretation of what Jesus looked like, yeah I'm sure someone born in the Middle East has white skin and golden locks. People choose to not believe the Bible when it comes to that, the truth is Jesus probably looked more like Osama Bin Laden than what the church has him looking like. Yeah and jokes do spread better thru the internet cuz people like me don't want this God crap shoved down our throats and would never subject anyone else to it.
that's all for now, for those who didn't like this...I don't care, for those who did, I still don't care but at least you can have an open mind and I applaud you for that.
