So I've been thinking lately about how our parents musical tastes affect us, and it does stick sometimes, even tho we may deny it. Does that mean in 15 years Alyssa will love Pearl Jam? hmmmm.....any way to tribute the music i was raised with these are for my parents. First my mother, with us kids in the aerostar we listened to Moody Blues at the Red Rocks alot and it was pretty good, here's one of my favorite songs by them

okay haven't done one in a while so here it is...13 things about new england autumn's that i like

1. In the morning you must put the heat on in the car, in the afternoon air conditioning. i actually like this new england weather

2. that crisp, clean feeling the air has at night

3 trick o' treating, what's better than this, really

4. the end of the heat, i love working outside when it's a bit chilly, makes working so much easier after a hot long summer

5. Autumn candy!! candy corn and those little mellowcreme pumpkins

6. Hot fall foods like beef stew and pot roast

7. While we're on foods how about Lyman Orchards Apple Cider Donuts

8. Apple Cider hot

9. Thanksgiving with either a light snow outside or leaves on the ground

10. Walking thru a pumpkin patch with an enthusiastic 5 year old

11. Setting up a wish list on amazon

12. I kinda like it being dark early

13. All the New England traditions of the fall season, leaves, mums, pilgrims. nobody does autumn like new englanders

So I was gonna do just one song today, but after reading my mother's blog I decided to do 2, one for the litter of puppies I helped whelp on this date at 3am and the other cuz I've been in a real punk rock mood lately. Coors Light takes parts of real press conferences and cuts it up with new questions about Coors Light and they are funny as hell my two favs are Bill Parcells and Dennis Green, Parcells was the best at press conferences at making the reporters feel stupid so here's the two i can't get enough of.
